Atousa Bandeh Ghiasabadi Visual artist/ filmmaker based in Amsterdam Netherlands .
She studied Astronomy at Groningen university followed by Painting at Minerva Art
academy (BA in painting). She continued her postgraduate study at Sandberg institute
and got her Master in video art/film. She started to make films in 2006. Her first two
short films were screened at various international festivals (IDFA, IFFR, Doc Leipzig, received awards.  Atousa Bandeh’s works(videos and paintings) are also shown at numerous
exhibitions in and out of the Nederlands
Currently, she is teaching at Gerrit Rietveld academy. And works as an advisor for different
grants at Mondrian fund.
